How the 570S and the 570GT differ

The 570GT is the touring version of the 570S and shares its 3.8-litre twin-turbo V8 with 570 PS and its seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox. The 570S (2015) is the sports coupé of McLaren's Sports Series; the 570GT, shown at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show, has a side-opening glass hatch over a luggage shelf above the engine, slightly softer suspension and better sound insulation.

The 570S also came as the 570S Spider (2017) with a folding hard top, and the 570GT got carbon-ceramic brakes as standard with the 2018 facelift. The GT (2019) succeeded the 570GT as McLaren's touring car; the 570S was dropped in 2021.
