About the McLaren 570S

The 570S was the core model of McLaren's Sports Series, launched in 2015 below the 650S. Like every McLaren it is built around a carbon-fibre tub, with a 3.8-litre twin-turbo V8 behind the seats. It produces 570 PS, drives the rear wheels through a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox and has dihedral doors.

The range also included the cheaper 540C, the more comfortable 570GT with a glass rear hatch, and the 570S Spider (2017) with a folding hard top. The lighter, more powerful 600LT and the track-inspired 620R were the most extreme versions. The 570S was dropped in 2021; the GT and the hybrid Artura took over from the Sports Series.
