About the McLaren 570GT

The 570GT (from 2016) is the touring version of the 570S, presented at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show. Instead of an engine cover it has a side-opening rear hatch over a luggage shelf above the engine, slightly softer suspension and better sound insulation. The 3.8-litre twin-turbo V8 (570 PS) and the seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox are those of the 570S.

With the 2018 facelift carbon-ceramic brakes became standard. As McLaren's touring car the 570GT was succeeded by the GT (2019).

What to check when buying a McLaren 570GT

  • Open the rear hatch several times and check the seals and the struts.
  • Check whether the car has carbon-ceramic brakes; they became standard with the 2018 facelift.
  • Ask for a full McLaren service history.
