About the Aston Martin DBX

The DBX is Aston Martin's first SUV and the first car built at its factory in St Athan, Wales, where production started in July 2020. It has a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 from Mercedes-AMG with 550 PS and 700 Nm; Aston Martin quoted 0–100 km/h in 4.5 seconds and 292 km/h.

The DBX707, unveiled on 1 February 2022, has 707 PS and 900 Nm, 0–60 mph in 3.1 seconds and 310 km/h. For model year 2025 it got a new interior and infotainment system, similar to the DB12, and the standard DBX was dropped. The DBX S, unveiled in April 2025, is a lighter and more powerful version with 727 PS.

What to check when buying an Aston Martin DBX

  • Check which version it is: the DBX (550 PS, until model year 2024), the DBX707 (707 PS, from 2022) or the DBX S (727 PS, from 2025).
  • Cars from model year 2025 have the new interior and infotainment; earlier cars have the older system.
  • Some listings give only the power: 707 PS is a DBX707, 727 PS a DBX S.
  • Ask for the service history with an Aston Martin dealer and how much of the factory warranty is left.
