Aston Martin DB11 vs DB12

The DB12 replaced the DB11 in 2023. Both have rear-wheel drive, an eight-speed ZF automatic and a convertible version, the Volante. The DB11 (2016–2023) came with Aston Martin's own 5.2-litre twin-turbo V12, with 608 PS and later 639 PS, or with a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 from Mercedes-AMG with 510 PS, or 535 PS from 2021. The DB12 only has that V8, now with 680 PS and 800 Nm, and 700 PS in the DB12 S of 2025. Inside, the DB12 has an all-new infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, replacing the Mercedes-based system of the DB11. Aston Martin quoted 325 km/h for the DB12, against 300 km/h for the DB11 V8 (309 km/h from 2021) and 334 km/h for the DB11 AMR.

Going by asking prices, the DB11 is the cheaper of the two: on 5 October 2026 its median asking price was €113,000, against €251,000 for the DB12, about 55% less. Those medians cover 185 cars for sale for the DB11 and 164 for the DB12; within each model, the price depends on the version, year and mileage.

Of the cars on AutoScout24 that sold in the last 90 days, the DB11 was online for a median of 67 days (28 sold) and the DB12 for 84 days (37 sold). The DB11 sells faster. A car counts as sold when its listing disappears; the last asking price is not necessarily what it sold for.
