How the Aventador and the Revuelto differ
The Revuelto succeeded the Aventador as Lamborghini's V12 flagship and was unveiled on 29 March 2023. Both have a 6.5-litre V12, all-wheel drive and a carbon-fibre monocoque. In the Aventador (2011–2022) the V12 is naturally aspirated and works with a seven-speed automated single-clutch gearbox (ISR). Its power rose from 700 PS in the first LP 700-4 to 770 PS in the SVJ (2018) and 780 PS in the Ultimae (2021), the last version.
The Revuelto is a plug-in hybrid: its V12 (825 PS at 9,250 rpm) and three electric motors give 1,015 PS and 1,062 Nm combined, through an eight-speed dual-clutch gearbox. The 3.8 kWh battery gives about 10 km of electric range, and Lamborghini quoted 0–100 km/h in 2.5 seconds and a top speed of 350 km/h.
