How the California and the Portofino differ
The California, launched in 2008, was Ferrari's first front-engined V8 road car and its first with a folding hard top. Its naturally aspirated 4.3-litre V8 has 460 PS, or 490 PS from 2012; the California T of 2014 switched to a 3.9-litre twin-turbo V8 with 560 PS. The Portofino replaced the California T in 2017 as Ferrari's entry-level convertible, again a 2+2 with a folding hard top.
