How the Gallardo and the Murciélago differ

The Murciélago (2001–2010) has a V12 behind the seats, the Gallardo (2003–2013) a V10, and both came with a six-speed manual or the e-gear automated manual. The Murciélago started with a 6.2-litre V12 of 580 PS; the LP 640 of 2006 brought 6.5 litres and 640 PS, and the LP 670-4 SuperVeloce 670 PS. Lamborghini built 4,099 Murciélagos and more than 14,000 Gallardos, its best-selling model of the time. Their successors are the Aventador (2011) and the Huracán (2014).
