Asking prices of the cars listed on Driveyart on 8 October 2026, collected from mobile.de, AutoScout24, AutoScout24.ch and PistonHeads; cars with price on application are left out. The year is the year of first registration; years with fewer than 3 cars for sale are left out. A car counts as sold when its listing disappears after at least 3 days online and does not come back at the same seller within a month; its last asking price is not necessarily what it sold for. Days to sell come from AutoScout24 and PistonHeads, the portals that show when a listing went online.
About the Porsche 911
The Porsche 911 has been built since 1964, in eight generations, and this page shows every 911 for sale across all of them. The first four are air-cooled: the early 911 (1964–1973), the G-series (1974–1989) with its impact bumpers and the 930 Turbo, the 964 (1989–1994), whose Carrera 4 was the first regular 911 with four-wheel drive, and the 993, the last air-cooled 911.
The 996 (1997–2005) was the first water-cooled 911. The 997 brought back round headlights, and its second series (from 2008) introduced direct injection and the PDK dual-clutch gearbox. The facelifted 991.2, shown in 2015, gave the Carrera models of the 991 a 3.0-litre twin-turbo flat-six, the first turbocharged engine in a base 911. The current 992 went on sale in 2019; with the facelift of 2024, the Carrera GTS became the first series-production hybrid 911.
Each generation has its own page with its versions, specs and prices, and the tables on this page compare them side by side. The 911 GT3, 911 GT3 RS and 911 Turbo pages bring those versions together across generations.
What to check when buying a Porsche 911
- Many listings just say "911", so check the generation. The year of first registration is a first clue, but it can be a year after the car was built. The body helps too: the G-series has impact bumpers, and the 996 has the so-called fried-egg headlights, which the 997 replaced with round ones again.
- Each generation page lists its versions and what to check when buying one.
