About the Ferrari GTC4 Lusso

The GTC4Lusso replaced the FF at the Geneva motor show in March 2016. Like the FF it is a four-seat shooting brake with a front-mounted V12, now 6.3 litres (6,262 cc) with 690 PS. The 4RM-S system combines four-wheel drive with four-wheel steering.

The GTC4Lusso T followed at the 2016 Paris motor show and was built from 2017. It has a 3.9-litre twin-turbo V8 with 610 PS and drives only the rear wheels, but keeps the four-wheel steering. Production of both ended in 2020; as Ferrari's four-seater, the Purosangue followed.

What to check when buying a Ferrari GTC4 Lusso

  • Check whether it is the V12 GTC4Lusso (690 PS, four-wheel drive) or the V8 GTC4Lusso T (610 PS, rear-wheel drive). Both have four-wheel steering.
  • On the V12, have a specialist check the four-wheel-drive system and read the fault codes.
  • Ferrari's seven-year Genuine Maintenance programme passes to the next owner; check how much of it is left and ask for the service history at a Ferrari dealer.
