Asking prices of the cars listed on Driveyart on 6 October 2026, collected from mobile.de, AutoScout24, AutoScout24.ch and PistonHeads; cars with price on application are left out. About the Ferrari FF

The FF (2011–2016) was Ferrari's first production car with four-wheel drive and its first series-built shooting brake: a three-door grand tourer with four seats. It replaced the 612 Scaglietti, and its name stands for Ferrari Four, for the four seats and the four driven wheels. The design came from Pininfarina and Ferrari's own styling centre. Ferrari built 2,291 FFs in Maranello.

At the front sits a naturally aspirated 6.3-litre V12 with direct injection, 660 PS and 683 Nm, an engine it shares with the F12berlinetta. A seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox at the rear drives the rear wheels. The 4RM system adds a small two-speed gearbox at the front of the engine, which drives the front wheels in the first four gears. At its launch the FF was the fastest four-seat car in the world, with 335 km/h and 0–100 km/h in 3.7 seconds. The GTC4Lusso replaced it in 2016.

What to check when buying a Ferrari FF

  • Ask for a full service history with a Ferrari dealer or a known specialist.
  • Have a specialist check the 4RM four-wheel-drive system: read the fault codes and listen for clunks or a delay when the front wheels start to drive. Repairs to the front drive unit (PTU) are expensive.
  • Carbon-ceramic brakes are standard; check the discs for grooves and discoloration, as a full set of new discs is very expensive.
  • Options make a real difference to value, so compare the specification and not only the price and mileage.
  • A Ferrari Approved car or an extended Ferrari warranty adds peace of mind.

It works in the first four gears; in fifth to seventh gear the FF is rear-wheel drive.

How practical is the Ferrari FF?

Very, for a Ferrari. It has four seats, three doors with a large tailgate, and a boot of 450 litres, which grows to 800 litres with the rear seats folded. Some reviewers called it a Ferrari for the whole family.
