About the Ferrari Roma
The Roma is Ferrari's front-engined grand-touring coupé, revealed in Rome in 2019 with deliveries from 2020. It has a 3.9-litre twin-turbo V8 with 620 PS behind the front axle, an eight-speed dual-clutch gearbox and two small rear seats. The styling is deliberately clean, a nod to the Italian 1950s and 1960s.
The Roma Spider (2023) added a fabric roof, the first on a front-engined Ferrari in decades. The Portofino is its folding-hard-top sister model; the Amalfi succeeds the Roma coupé.
What to check when buying a Ferrari Roma
- Ferrari's seven-year maintenance programme covers servicing from first registration; check how much of it is left and whether a Ferrari Power extended warranty is possible.
- Ask whether the latest software updates have been installed for the digital dashboard and infotainment.
- Options such as carbon parts, driver assistance and special paint affect the price a lot; compare the specification.
- On a Spider, check the fabric roof, its seals and the wind deflector.
