About the McLaren 675 LT

The 675LT (2015–2017) is the lighter and more powerful version of the 650S, announced in February 2015 and shown at the Geneva Motor Show. Its 3.8-litre twin-turbo V8 (M838T) has 675 PS at 7,100 rpm and 700 Nm, with a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox. With more carbon fibre and other savings it weighs 100 kg less than the 650S: 1,230 kg dry. McLaren quoted 0–100 km/h in 2.9 seconds and 330 km/h.

LT stands for Longtail, after the long-tailed McLaren F1 GTR race car of 1997. The coupé was limited to 500 cars; the 675LT Spider followed in 2016, and McLaren Special Operations built versions such as the MSO HS. The next LT of this line was the 765LT (2020).

What to check when buying a McLaren 675 LT

  • Check whether it is a coupé, a Spider or one of the MSO versions; they differ in rarity and value.
  • Many 675LTs have been used on track: check the brakes and tyres, and ask for a full McLaren service history.
